Because your clients are businesses, a late invoice can carry statutory interest of 8% above the Bank of England base rate (11.75% a year for debts falling due July–December 2026) and a fixed recovery sum of £40, £70 or £100 depending on its size, unless your contract sets its own late-payment rate.
