Remi books, moves and cancels appointments live on the call in Google Calendar, Cliniko or Acuity. If you book in a different system, Remi can send callers your own online booking link on WhatsApp, or take a full message so your team can put it in your diary.

What if a caller describes something urgent?

Remi never gives clinical advice or guesses what's wrong. It puts the call straight through to you or your team, or takes a detailed message and alerts you straight away. Remi is not an emergency service and never claims to be.

How does Remi handle personal information under POPIA?

We sign a POPIA operator agreement with your business before Remi goes live, and your patients' details are stored securely on EU-hosted infrastructure. Remi only books, messages and passes on calls for you.

Will Remi sound robotic? Can callers interrupt it?

No. Remi speaks with a natural voice in English or Afrikaans, and patients can interrupt it mid-sentence just as they would a person. There are no 'press 1' menus: people simply say what they need. On WhatsApp, Remi replies in 11 languages.
